Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is dropping on Jan. 23, 2020 with a plethora of new features, as well as cross-platform play between consoles.
The new version will come with updated graphics and sounds, new character voice-overs, and a new online multiplayer mode. The original GameCube game was a hassle to play with your friends, as it required a Game Boy Advance link cable and system per player, but now players will be able to play together, even across systems.
In addition to improved multiplayer, the remastered version of the game will also have new costumes for characters to wear, new bosses to take down, and new dungeons to explore.
A “preview version” of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be playable on the Tokyo Game Show floor this week, so more information about new features should come around sooner rather than later.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will be available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
