The Division 2 is heading to Coney Island

The free update arrives in February

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 continues its roll-out of free narrative content in February with the release of Episode 3. A new trailer shows combat on Coney Island, and a flashy new weapon available for all players.

Episode 3 continues the narrative action from the original campaign, which launched in March 2019. Players will be on the hunt for a scientist who holds the key to curing the plague ravaging the United States. Of course, they’re being held captive by the powerful Black Tusk faction. Today’s trailer shows the private military contractors letting loose a barrage of powerful anti-aircraft missiles commonly found on naval ships to deter ground-pounding Division agents.

The real gem of the trailer is the flamethrower that players will have access to. It will likely be locked to a new specialization in the game, joining the popular crossbow, minigun, grenade launcher, and other signature weapons.

The update is scheduled to drop in February, but no specific date has been revealed. It’s expected to arrive on PC and console versions of the game simultaneously.
