Nintendo will broadcast a new Pokémon Direct livestream presentation on Thursday, Jan. 9, promising new details on all things Pokémon.

The roughly 20-minute Nintendo Direct will air at 9:30 a.m. ET/6:30 a.m. PT on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as Facebook and Twitter.

Nintendo didn’t specify which Pokémon games, either new or old, would be up for discussion in this week’s Pokémon Direct livestream. The company brought Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield to Nintendo Switch in November, and the two games became “among the fastest-selling Nintendo Switch games of all time,” with more than 6 million copies sold. The Pokémon Company also recently released two Pokémon spinoff games for Facebook.

It doesn’t sound like we’ll hear anything new on other upcoming Nintendo games in the Pokémon-themed Nintendo Direct. Nintendo’s upcoming Switch lineup includes Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, as well as third-party-developed games like Snack World from Level 5, Bravely Default 2 from Square Enix, and No More Heroes 3 from Grasshopper Manufacture.
