Watch these two blindfolded players take down Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!! together

Kid Dynamite is no match for two of the best NES fighters ever

Awesome Games Done Quick 2020, taking place right now, is well known for highly-entertaining trick-shot events. But even those who have mastered Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!, over more than 30 years since it launched on the NES, have managed to outdo themselves.

Speedrunners sinister1 (second place all-time, real-time attack) and zallard1 (third-place, same category), have both done blind runs and beaten the game on their own. Tuesday, they teamed up for a dual blindfolded run at the game, one handling the punches, the other Little Mac’s movement.

They might look like they are praying together, but they’re working hand-in-boxing-glove to take down the baddest man on the planet. And when Mac explodes into Iron Mike’s kisser with five left-hand straights, the crowd reaction is exactly what you’d hear at a title fight.

As the caster shouts, give it up for sinister1 and zallard1! Their victory embrace is indeed what this event and this fandom is all about.
