It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! is free on Apple TV Plus for Halloween

Peanuts Halloween classic It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is now an Apple TV Plus exclusive.

The 1966 holiday special will be free to watch from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 on Apple TV Plus. The rest of the Peanuts holiday specials, including A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas, will be available later this year, also with pockets of free-to-watch availability. The Thanksgiving special will be available to subscribers on Nov. 18, but be free to watch from Nov. 25 to Nov. 27. Similarly, the Christmas special hits the platform on Dec. 4 and will be free from Dec. 11 to Dec. 13.

Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang now enjoy a comfortable and exclusive partnership with Apple. The animated show Snoopy in Space is set to get a second season, with new show called The Snoopy Show premiering Feb. 5 and specials for Mother’s Day, Earth Day, New Year’s Eve, and Back to School in the works. This does, however, mean that the specials will not air on broadcast television like they have in the past.
