Horror game Stories Untold hits PS4, Xbox One on Oct. 27

A classic horror anthology, in time for Halloween

Stories Untold is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Tuesday, according to publisher Devolver Digital. The horror anthology will be available on both consoles for the first time, which should allow new players to give the game a spin. It’s a few hours long, but absolutely worth the time, especially if someone needs some last-minute Halloween plans.

Stories Untold takes the player through short stories in interesting locales, like playing a text-based adventure game in the attic of an old house, or holding down a research station in Antarctica. It feels very inspired by old episodic horror shows like The Twilight Zone, and all comes together in the end in a satisfying bundle.

If you don’t have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, Stories Untold is currently on sale for $2.50 in the Epic Games Store fall sale. But if you do have a console and want to give this game a shot, it’s a great choice for Halloween, especially if you combine it with some chocolate and a cozy blanket.
