Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, the previously announced cooperative multiplayer mode for up to four players, is coming to Ghost of Tsushima on Oct. 16 with the PlayStation 4 game’s 1.1 update. The free update will also include a host of new additions and improvements for the single-player portion of the game, namely a new game plus mode.

As seen in the trailer above, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will include two-player story missions and four-player survival missions. Developer Sucker Punch Productions teases a multiplayer raid that will arrive in the weeks following launch. That raid, the developer says, will be “an epic three-part adventure that will require excellent teamwork and communication to overcome.” Players will encounter a new character in Ghost of Tsushima when the update arrives: Gyozen, a storyteller that grants access to the Legends multiplayer lobby.

More details about Ghost of Tsushima: Legends gameplay and the multiplayer mode’s photo mode options are available at the PlayStation Blog.

On the single-player side, Sucker Punch revealed what players can expect in new game plus mode: a new horse, new “extremely powerful” charms, and a new merchant that will give players new game plus-exclusive dyes and vanity items in exchange for collecting a new strain of flower.
