Shadow Complex Remastered has been patched and is now playable on the PlayStation 5, Chair Entertainment said on Thursday.
The extra work takes the 2016 re-release off the very short list of PlayStation 4 games not playable on the PS5. There are now nine, 10 if you count P.T., which was playable on the PS5 console pre-release until it was martyred again before launch.
Our team has patched Shadow Complex Remastered for PS4 and it's now playable on PlayStation 5!

The remaining non-compliant games are:
- DWVR
- Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of Kuma — Volume One
- TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 2
- Just Deal With!
- Robinson: The Journey
- We Sing
- Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
- Shadwen
- Joe’s Diner
Back in March, as Sony started laying out the capabilities of the new console, lead system architect Mark Cerny said that all games had to be tested on a “title-by-title basis.” Eight months later, with only nine games non-compliant, that’s about as close to everything as it gets.
Still, good on Chair Entertainment for going the extra mile with Shadow Complex Remastered, a game with, it’s fair to say, a bigger following than any of the others left on the list.
