Ready Player Two, the sequel to the nerd culture bestseller Ready Player One, is set for release on Nov. 24. A digital event is running on the Roblox platform to celebrate the launch; it’s an Oasis-themed treasure hunt, which will play out throughout seven accessible experiences. Players can also watch a virtual Q&A with author Ernest Cline and Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki on Dec. 1 at 10am PST.

The Q&A and Ready Player Two will both contain clues for the Roblox treasure hunt, which also kicks off on Dec. 1. With the right clues and knowledge, players will be able to pass tests and solve puzzles in the seven Roblox worlds in order to score a special treasure. It’s an event that mimics the events of Ready Player One, and the hunt will be open to all Roblox players.

A similar event happened in 2018, to coincide with the release of the film adaptation of Ready Player One. According to Baszucki, this event had more than 13 million participants.

Players can hang out in a special Ready Player Two event space, which racked up over 1 million visits in its first 24 hours. After visiting the space, players will receive Ready Player Two merchandise on their Roblox accounts.
