Classic Kingdom Hearts games come to Xbox One in two big collections

Kingdom Hearts 3 is also coming to Xbox Game Pass

Xbox One owners can experience the breadth of the Kingdom Hearts series with the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue for the platform today. The two collections, which are available digitally, pack in nine HD-remastered adventures for Xbox One.

The Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue collections were released on PlayStation 4 back in 2017. But with the arrival of Kingdom Hearts 3 on Xbox One last year, it’s an opportunity for Xbox fans to catch up with the entire franchise.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, which costs $49.99, includes the following games:

  • Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories
  • Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (HD remastered cinematics)
  • Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix
  • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded (HD remastered cinematics)

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, which costs $59.99, includes the following games:

  • Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD
  • Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep – A fragmentary passage –
  • Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover (movie)

Additionally, the third/tenth game in the franchise, Kingdom Hearts 3, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on Feb. 25, the same day the Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind downloadable content will be released on Xbox One. That add-on will cost $29.99.
