James Bond’s final mission isn’t going to be the easy retirement he thought he’d be having.
No Time to Die — the last James Bond movie starring Daniel Craig — sees the secret agent coming out of his blissful retirement to search for a missing scientist. But as usual, that’s not the only thing going on, and this new TV spot finds 007 infiltrating, interrogating, and intimidating (you know, secret agent things).
Captain Marvel’s Lashana Lynch co-stars as another ‘00’ agent, who’s joined the service since Bond’s retirement. We do know she will eventually take up the 007 moniker, but whether that’s because James Bond dies or simply retires we do not yet know. Rami Malek also stars as the mask-wearing villain Safin, who kinda has a Phantom of the Opera vibe goin’ on.
Returning to the cast are Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, Jeffrey Wright as CIA officer Felix Leiter, and Lea Seydoux, who returns as her Spectre character Dr. Madeleine Swann, Bond’s love interest and the daughter of the mysterious Mr. White character.
No Time to Die hits theaters on April 3 in the U.K. and April 8 in the U.S.
