The Quiplash 3 trailer has kittens, fire, and aliens

Everyone’s favorite party game is coming back

Jackbox Games is giving Jackbox Party Pack players exactly what they want: Quiplash 3. Quiplash and Quiplash 2 are, honestly, the best two games in the whole series of Party Pack games.

Quiplash was released in 2015 as a standalone game, with Quiplash XL added to The Jackbox Party Pack 2 in 2015, and Quiplash 2 released in The Jackbox Party Pack 3 in 2016. We’re up to seven Party Packs now, and it’s been a while since a new Quiplash has been released. Now’s the time, and it’s got an absolutely ridiculous trailer to go along with its announcement.

The Quiplash 3 trailer for Jackbox Party Pack 7, which is expected to be released this fall, has kittens, fire, aliens, and death — but none of that is relevant to the game. Quiplash 3 is, very likely, not a huge iteration on the other two games. They just work as they are, and that’s what the players want: the silly party game that’s often likened to Cards Against Humanity. For the uninitiated, Quiplash is a game where players, connected through their phones or tablets, answer prompts. Players’ answered will be pitted against each other and the others must decide which is the best.

Quiplash 3 is the first game announced for Jackbox Party Pack 7.
