Ghost of Tsushima, the open-world samurai action game from developer Sucker Punch Productions, is coming to PlayStation 4 on June 26. The studio and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment also released a new story trailer on Thursday that focuses on the game’s protagonist, Jin Sakai, and his mission to protect the people of Tsushima.

Here’s the official synopsis of Ghost of Tsushima’s story:

With Tsushima on the brink of destruction, Jin Sakai must sacrifice everything to defeat the ruthless Mongol invaders and protect what’s left of his home and people. As he embarks on an epic adventure for the freedom of Tsushima, he is forced to set aside samurai traditions and become a new kind of warrior.

Today’s trailer also touches on two other important figures: Jin’s uncle Shimura, the lord of Tsushima and the man who trained Jin as a samurai; and Khotun Khan, the leader of the Mongol army.

Sucker Punch also announced multiple editions of Ghost of Tsushima, which range from the $69.99 Digital Deluxe Edition and physical Special Edition, to the $169.99 Collector’s Edition, which includes a variety of digital and physical goods. More details on those editions are available at the PlayStation Blog.

Ghost of Tsushima was originally announced in October 2017. It’s the first new game from Sucker Punch since 2014’s dual releases of Infamous Second Son and Infamous First Light. Sucker Punch confirmed a summer 2020 release window for the PS4 game this past December.
