Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on PlayStation 4 on June 19, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirmed on Monday. The game was previously scheduled for release on May 29, but was delayed indefinitely earlier this month due to production complications resulting from the coronavirus pandemic.

The Last of Us Part 2’s new release date means a delay for another PS4 game, Sucker Punch’s samurai action-adventure Ghost of Tsushima. That game is now slated for release on July 17, nearly a monthlong delay from its previous date.

Hermen Hulst, head of worldwide studios at SIE, said the PlayStation team is seeing an “ease in the global distribution environment,” and congratulated Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch for “reach[ing] the finish line under these circumstances.”

The release date for The Last of Us Part 2 comes shortly after a massive spoiler-filled leak of the game’s story, which fans will have to do their best to avoid over the next two months.
