International K-pop sensation BTS revealed a new trailer for their upcoming docuseries Break the Silence. The series follows two of the band’s tours, the Love Yourself World Tour —which ran from 2018 to 2019 — and the Speak Yourself Tour from 2019. BTS’s latest world tour was supposed to kick off last weekend, but the band postponed it due to safety concerns amid the pandemic. With no world tour, fans can now look to the new series, which will premiere on the Korean app WeVerse on May 12.

BTS previously had two documentaries: 2018’s Burn the Stage and 2019’s Bring the Soul. Both premiered as full length features with theatrical releases before getting the series treatment. This new documentary is expected to be more personal, given that the group’s latest album Map of the Soul: 7 touched on more intimate themes.

The wildly popular boy band made its debut in 2013 and has gained popularity not just in South Korea, but across the globe. Known for its tight choreography, lyricism, and connection with the band’s fans — and also a mobile game — BTS is more popular than ever in 2020.
