Respawn has been giving us teases for Loba for a couple of weeks now, but we finally know exactly what Apex Legends’ new character is capable of. On Monday, the developer released Loba’s full kit and all her loot-focused abilities.

Here are the details, straight from Respawn:

Tactical Ability — Buglar’s Best Friend
Teleport to hard-to-reach places or escape trouble quickly by throwing your Jump Drive bracelet.

Passive Ability — Eye for Quality
Nearby Epic and Legenday loot can be seen through walls. The range is the same as Black Market Boutique.

Ulimate Ability — Black Market Boutique
Place a portable device that allows you to teleport nearby loot to your inventory. Each friendly or enemy Legend can take up to two items.

Loba’s kit seems fitting for a master thief. Just about every ability has something to do with loot or getting out of a tight spot. While the ability to see certain loot through walls should be useful in matches, especially in the early and mid-game, her ultimate will be a little bit more situational. It’s easy to see how you could use it to get your squad out of a jam when you’re running low on ammo late in the game, but it might take a little bit more creativity to use it effectively in the middle of a match.

The real star of the show will probably be Loba’s teleport, which on-paper sounds like one of the most powerful abilities in all of Apex Legends. She’ll be able to teleport to otherwise hard-to-reach locations or even confuse enemies by teleporting behind them or to where she’s already standing for a bit of misdirection.

Loba will be added to the game as part of Apex Legends season 5, which begins on May 12. She will be available from the in-game store, just like all of Apex Legends’ previously released characters.
