Tetris 99 players that participate in this weekend’s Maximus Cup will be awarded with a very cute Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme for the game.

The event will run from 12 a.m. PT on Friday until 11:59 p.m. PT on Monday. To earn the Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme, you’ll have to acquire 100 event points. Points are acquired by playing the game — the higher you place in a Tetris 99 match, the more points you’ll be awarded.

If you’re terrible at Tetris 99, it might take you a while. But it’ll be worth it! Did I mention how cute the theme is? It’s decorated with Animal Crossing characters, and when players are knocked out, they’re replaced by the leaf logo. Each of the tetriminos is decorated with different Animal Crossing symbols, too — like fruit, fossils, and bugs.

Tetris 99 is a free Tetris battle royale available on Nintendo Switch. It was released in February 2019. To participate in this weekend’s Maximus Cup, players are required to have a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
