Sony is dedicating the next episode of its State of Play livestream to Sucker Punch’s upcoming samurai action-adventure game, Ghost of Tsushima. On Thursday, May 14, at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, State of Play will offer an “extended look at new gameplay footage,” including exploration and combat, that will run about 18 minutes.
On the PlayStation Blog, Sony sets an important base level expectation: “there won’t be any PS5 news or updates in this episode, just a big, beautiful look at Sucker Punch’s PS4 open-world epic.”
Still, the stream will be valuable to fans of Sucker Punch, the developer behind the Infamous series, who may be wondering what Ghost of Tsushima is really all about. The PlayStation 4 game was officially unveiled at Paris Games Week in 2017, but Sony hasn’t shown much of substance about the game, which is out soon (July 17).
State of Play will be broadcast on PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch channels.
