Apex Legends season 5 started just a few weeks ago, and while plans for a new “Lost Treasures” Collection Event were revealed during tonight’s EA Play press conference, the really shocking news was that the game would be coming to Nintendo Switch in the fall.

While details about the Switch version are extremely limited, Respawn did reveal that all versions of Apex Legends will soon support cross-play on every one of the game’s supported platforms, including Xbox One, PS4, Steam, Origin and, yes, Switch. Cross-play support is also planned for this fall, possibly alongside the launch of the Switch version.

As for the “Lost Treasures” Collection Event, Respawn showed off some of the new, gold-themed skins, as well as a new item: the Mobile Respawn Beacon. This item will appear in players’ inventories at the beginning of each match during the event, letting teammates respawn wherever they’d like.

The “Lost Treasures” event will start on Tuesday, June 23.
