EA Play Live 2020, Electronic Arts’ livestreamed not-E3 event, is just a couple of hours away. The show is set to begin at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT on EA’s website as well as YouTube and Twitch, and you can watch it right here.
While we don’t know how long the livestream will last, we do have some idea of what EA will be showing. The publisher says that this year’s show is about “connecting players around the world and bringing them closer to the game franchises they love.”
That includes glimpses of EA Sports titles such as Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X; the first gameplay footage of the new Star Wars game, Star Wars: Squadrons; and a look at the future of Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends. Presumably, the publisher will also have some surprises in store — including, perhaps, some news on Nintendo Switch games like the upcoming port of Burnout Paradise Remastered.
