Couch co-op game Overcooked will replace Borderlands: The Handsome Collection as the weekly free game on the Epic Games Store. The game, created by Ghost Town Games, is available now until June 11 at 11 a.m. EDT. Before Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, Epic Games was offering other popular titles, like Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 and Grand Theft Auto 5.

Overcooked, released in 2016, now has a sequel: Overcooked 2. But the original game is still a delight. One to four players control chefs in different chaotic kitchens and have to serve meals to demanding customers. It’s a lot of fun — but it’s definitely a high-stress game. Want to play it with your family? I recommend patience. The Epic Games Store offer is only for Overcooked on Windows PC, but the game is also on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Epic Games gives away games weekly on its platform. It’s been going on since 2019. As part of its Mega Sale, Epic Games has been giving away hugely popular games for free. This is the last week of the Mega Sale, which ends on June 11. Free games aside, the Mega Sale is also allowing players discounts up to 75%.

Another game will take Overcooked’s place on June 11 at 11 a.m. EDT. What game is it? We won’t know until then. At that time, Overcooked will go back to its regular price, which is $16.99.
