Xbox Live Gold members can play Injustice 2 and NASCAR Heat 5 for free this weekend as part of Microsoft’s Free Play Days promotion. Both games will be available to download and play from Aug. 13 until Aug. 16. Once the free promotional period if over, though, you’ll have to buy the game to keep playing.
The good news is, Microsoft is offering Injustice 2 and NASCAR Heat 5 for discounted prices during the promotion: Injustice 2 for $9.99 (Standard Edition). The Ultimate Pack upgrade is $7.99. Nascar Heat 5 is $39.99 for the Standard Edition and $55.99 for the Gold Edition.
Injustice 2 was released in 2017 as a followup to Injustice: Gods Among Us. The NetherRealm Studios fighting game lets players brawl inside the DC Universe. NASCAR Heat 5, from Motorsport Games, was released in July for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It’s a racing simulator for the 2020 NASCAR season.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Edition is also available to play for free until Aug. 19 at 7 a.m., per a different promotion.
