Fans interested in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War won’t have to wait long to get a taste of the action. A multiplayer alpha kicks off on Friday, Sept. 18 and extends through the weekend, and it’s available to everyone on PlayStation 4. Console owners can start downloading the client right now.

The announcement was made Wednesday during a PlayStation 5 online event. It was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer for the single-player campaign, which we’ve embedded above. The trailer is also available on YouTube.

Black Ops Cold War was formally revealed on Aug. 26, but not before footage leaked online. Images of the multiplayer mode also leaked, showing a fast-paced style of gameplay without the hero-shooter elements that accompanied developer Treyarch’s last outing, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is expected to release this holiday, in time for the launch of the PlayStation 5.
