The 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die, was supposed to debut in April, but is now set to be a Thanksgiving treat after being pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With movies actually coming out in theaters again, a new trailer has landed, showcasing the famous spy jumping back into action after attempting to retire. Details on the film’s plot have been kept relatively secret, but we know that the film stars Rami Malek as Safin, a brand new Bond baddie, and sees the return of Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, and Christoph Waltz as Madeleine Swann, Q, and Ernst Stavro Blofeld, respectively. Most excitingly, the film also stars Lashana Lynch as a new “00” agent.
The film also features a theme song from Billie Eilish, and marks Daniel Craig’s final time playing James Bond. In a behind-the-scenes interview, Fukunaga stated that the film would see Bond struggling with his role as a “00” agent as the world changes around him, and be “the culmination of all that Bond has become, with all that he’s seen.”
No Time to Die is set to hit theaters on Nov. 20.
