Activision and Treyarch will give us our first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer modes on Wednesday, during a livestream that you can watch on YouTube and Twitch. Call of Duty fans will get a peek at new multiplayer maps and modes coming to Black Ops Cold War, which likely includes a reveal of how this year’s shooter ties into Call of Duty: Warzone, the series’ stand-alone battle royale experience.
Activision, Raven Software, and Treyarch unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in August. The game is pitched as a direct sequel to the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, and is set during the Cold War era 1980s. The game’s multiplayer mode will presumably feature the same ’80s influence and era-appropriate weapons and technology.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is planned for release on Nov. 13 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One. It’s also coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when those next-gen consoles launch.
