To All The Boys: Always and Forever concludes the Netflix rom-com trilogy

The bittersweetness of senior year

The final movie in Netflix’s To All the Boys trilogy looks like a bittersweet ending to Lara (Lana Condor) and Peter’s (Noah Centineo) love story.

As Lara and Peter take part in usual senior year festivities — Prom! Senior trip! — they have to do some soul searching. Is Lara making the right decision by following Peter to Stanford? Will Lara even get in? Why does she feel the call of New York City? Would they even survive long distance?

Based on the best-selling YA series by Jenny Han, the first movie came out in 2018 and quickly buzzed to popularity. In the first movie — To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before — five letters that Lara penned to crushes end up in the hands of their recipients. In order to save face, Lara and Peter begin to pretend to date ... but catch feelings along the way.

To All the Boys: Always and Forever hits Netflix on Feb. 12 — just in time for Valentine’s Day.
