Xbox Game Pass offers a wide variety for a monthly subscription, and January 2021’s selection of games added to the service includes some titles that are definitely worth your time: Control, the Yakuza Remastered Collection, The Medium, and Outer Wilds.
On Jan. 21, Control will be available to play on Game Pass for PC after being available for consoles. This spooky supernatural thriller has players delve into a secretive government facility in New York, picking up an array of supernatural powers and uncovering mysteries along the way.
Also on Jan. 21, players will also gain access to the tactical Wild West game Desperados 3 and the colorful hole-based puzzler Donut County on Game Pass for Android, console, and PC. The incredible time-loop space puzzler Outer Wilds will also become available on Android — it’s currently available on PC and consoles. On Jan. 26, ninja action game Cyber Shadow comes to Android, console, and PC.
That lineup is followed up on Jan. 28 by next-gen horror game The Medium on both PC and Xbox Series X, which is the day of its release. Jan. 28 also brings players the Yakuza Remastered Collection to Android, console, and PC, which covers Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5. This means that every mainline Yakuza game is on Game Pass, which is ideal for people who want to catch up on the franchise.
On Jan. 29, some games will leave the service, including Final Fantasy 15, Gris, and Sea Salt.
