Raya and the Last Dragon’s new trailer stars a crime baby

The new Disney movie premieres on Disney Plus on March 5

Disney’s newest animated feature, Raya and the Last Dragon, prominently features a crime baby.

As heroine Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) treks into a busy city, she finds a lost little baby alone. But that baby isn’t as helpless as Raya thinks — and quickly manages to con and overpower her.

The titular dragon also makes her first appearance in the newest trailer. The fluffy, blue Sisu (Awkwafina) has something to say to heroine Raya about her world-saving capabilities.

“I’m not, like, the best dragon ... “ she clarifies.

The movie takes place in a Southeast Asian-inspired fantasy kingdom. Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) needs to find the last dragon in order to save the land — but other people, including this one buff lady with a very cool haircut, are out on the same quest for nefarious purposes. This new trailer shows more of the sweeping fantasy land, as well as some of the quirky characters. Hello, crime baby!

Originally set to premiere theatrically in November 2020, Raya and the Last Dragon will be available March 5 in theaters, as well as on Disney Plus with Premier Access. Check out the new poster:
