Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red released official modding support tools for the game on Tuesday.
Players have been modding the game for a while now, but the official Cyberpunk 2077 modding tools make the experience of modding a bit easier. So far, CD Projekt Red has just a few support tools, but the company said it’ll keep updating them.
“Below you will find official tools and resources that will help you modify and create your own experiences in the world of Cyberpunk 2077,” CD Projekt Red wrote. “Tools will be continuously updated alongside with game patches to ensure compatibility.”
Modders have already been busy: There’s already a community of modders looking to fix up the game’s glaring problems, adding a third-person view, a minimap, and a barbershop. Another mod, created shortly after the game’s release, gives Cyberpunk 2077’s playable character V a party of companions.
On Jan. 22, CD Projekt Red launched its first major patch aimed at quashing some of the game’s many bugs. Earlier in the month, the developer published a post-launch roadmap, noting that many more updates are still to come.
