PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to three games in February: Control Ultimate Edition, Concrete Genie, and Destruction AllStars. All three games will be available to download starting Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Control Ultimate Edition is Remedy Entertainment’s re-release of its 2019 game, and includes The Foundation and AWE expansions on top of the main game. Remedy and publisher 505 Games received no shortage of heat for how they handled the sale of the Ultimate Edition of the game, because existing owners of Control could not upgrade to the bundle — they had to purchase it separately for $39.99. Hopefully, some PlayStation players held out, and can now play the Ultimate Edition on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 as part of their PS Plus subscription.
Concrete Genie is Pixelopus’ 2019 action-adventure game that sends players to the grim seaside town of Denska, where players can conjure magical genies through brilliant graffiti. It’s available to download on PlayStation 4 and features PlayStation VR support.
Finally, Destruction AllStars will launch on PlayStation 5 via PlayStation Plus. Originally slated for the system’s launch (but delayed to February), Destruction AllStars is an “action-packed sports event that pits drivers against one another in an intense competition,” according to Sony. As previously announced, Destruction AllStars will be available for two months through PS Plus.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can still download January’s games, Maneater, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Greedfall, through Feb. 1.
