Mediatonic’s 2020 hit party game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is coming to Nintendo Switch, Mediatonic and Nintendo announced during a Nintendo Direct broadcast on Wednesday.
Fall Guys is expected out on the Nintendo console this summer.
Fall Guys was released in February last year, available only on Windows PC and PlayStation 4 to start. Mediatonic has released a bunch of updates in the months after Fall Guys’ release date, adding a battle pass-type system, seasons, and new stages. With the goal of being the last bean standing in a series of silly games, Fall Guys became an immediate hit — a fresh, different battle royale-style game in a sea of shooting games.
Of course, Fall Guys is the perfect game for the Nintendo Switch, with its goofy world and competitive gameplay. Fall Guys feels a lot like a game show, and that just works. Plus, its beans are so dang cute — even when they’re wearing the grotesque monsters costumes from Doom Eternal, which were added recently. (Doom Eternal, too, was added to Nintendo Switch’s lineup recently, in 2020.)
