PS4 and PS5 game announcements, updates, and more

Sony’s next State of Play livestream airs Thursday, Feb. 25, at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT. The new stream promises new updates and “deep dives” on 10 games coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and you can watch it all live, right here.

Thursday’s State of Play will stream on YouTube — embedded above — and Twitch. Sony says the stream will run approximately 30 minutes.

Sony says that State of Play will feature both new game announcements and updates on games shown during last June’s PlayStation 5 “Future of PlayStation” presentation. During that livestream, Sony revealed a new God of War, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Horizon Forbidden West, alongside third-party and indie developer reveals for Resident Evil Village, Returnal, GhostWire: Tokyo, Jett: The Far Shore, and Stray. Just don’t expect anything too far-reaching; Sony said the show will focus ongames set to come out in the months ahead.” (Also, don’t expect any hardware updates.)

On Tuesday, Sony confirmed a new PlayStation VR headset for PS5, a PC port of Bend Studio’s Days Gone, and a 2022 release window for Gran Turismo 7.
