Thursday’s announcement from Microsoft and Bethesda also mentioned that “a handful of these games will also benefit from FPS Boost on Xbox Series X|S.” FPS Boost provides a frame rate increase for certain backward-compatible Xbox One titles when played on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, doubling or quadrupling the games’ original frame rates. Microsoft said it will share more details on titles that support FPS Boost at a later time.
