Twenty Bethesda Softworks games will be part of the Xbox Game Pass library starting Friday, March 12, now that Microsoft’s $7.5 billion acquisition of the Fallout and Elder Scrolls publisher is complete. Several of the the games are returning to the subscription, others are making their Game Pass debut, and some were already in the catalog.
The titles are:

- Dishonored Definitive Edition and Dishonored 2 (Console, PC, Cloud): The definitive edition includes the add-on content for Arkane Studios’ 2012 adventure: Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal.
- Doom (1993), Doom 2, Doom 3, Doom 64, and Doom Eternal (Console, PC, Cloud): Doom Eternal is already on Xbox Game Pass and will be joined by the three 1990s games and the 2004 sequel. Doom (2016) was added to Game Pass during QuakeCon in August 2018, but it left May 2020.
- The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, 4: Oblivion, (Console and PC) and 5: Skyrim Special Edition (Console, PC, and Cloud): Skyrim Special Edition is already on Xbox Game Pass.
- The Elder Scrolls Online (Cloud, Console): The Elder Scrolls’ MMO is likewise already available in Xbox Game Pass’ library.
- The Evil Within (Console, PC, Cloud): Tango Gameworks’ survival-horror game from 2014 has not been a part of Xbox Game Pass before.
- Fallout 4, Fallout 76 (Console, PC, Cloud) and Fallout: New Vegas: Fallout 76 and New Vegas are already in the library. Fallout 4 was on the service from March 2019 to May 2020.
- Prey: Arkane Studios’ 2017 treatment of the survival-in-space shooter was on Xbox Game Pass from April 2019 to April 2020.
- Rage 2 (Console, PC, Cloud): Also already in Xbox Game Pass
- Wolfenstein: The New Order, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood and Wolfenstein: Youngblood (Console, PC, Cloud): The New Order was available to subscribers from October 2018 to April 2020. Youngblood was already in the library. This is the Xbox Game Pass debut for The Old Blood.
Thursday’s announcement from Microsoft and Bethesda also mentioned that “a handful of these games will also benefit from FPS Boost on Xbox Series X|S.” FPS Boost provides a frame rate increase for certain backward-compatible Xbox One titles when played on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, doubling or quadrupling the games’ original frame rates. Microsoft said it will share more details on titles that support FPS Boost at a later time.
