Black Clover’s coming back for a movie. While the anime may be set to end later this month, the series will return with a movie, Shonen Jump announced on Sunday.
The announcement came with a very short video, but there wasn’t much information in it. The video mostly highlights some of the art from the manga, and the popularity of the series, as well as some scenes of the creators behind the anime at Studio Pierrot. The trailer doesn’t appear to have any actual information on what the movie’s plot might be.
The announcement comes just two days before the Black Clover anime is set to end. Black Clover’s anime has run for four seasons. The show started in 2017, just two years after the manga’s debut issue. Episode 170 of the anime, which will be its final episode, is set to air on March 30.
There’s no word yet on when the Black Clover movie might be released, however the series’ Twitter account has said that information will be released “at a later date.”
