Build-A-Bear will release a third Animal Crossing: New Horizons-themed stuffed animal this summer, the toymaker said on Twitter Wednesday. Another run of its Isabelle and Tom Nook stuffed animals will also return “soon.”
The New Horizons line of stuffed animals was released on April 6 after Build-A-Bear surprised fans with an announcement on Monday. The company didn’t share what toys it’d have on sale until a preview went live shortly before the collection’s launch. The Isabelle and Tom Nook Build-A-Bear stuffed animals come in their summer outfits — Isabelle is a pink leaf-patterned shirt, Nook in his signature blue-green — and cost $51 a piece.
We're so excited we could finally share the arrival of Isabelle and Tom Nook as the first launch of our @animalcrossing: New Horizons Collection. They will return soon!

We're also excited to announce that a new character will be arriving this summer. Stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/pPjnnQqLu4
Build-A-Bear hasn’t said which character will join the lineup, but our best guess is the iconic K.K. Slider. Slider, however, is New Horizons’ only famously nude character, which means he probably wouldn’t come with clothes — a guitar would make sense, though. The company also hasn’t specified when it’ll release more Isabelle and Tom Nook stuffed animals into the world.
Given the last release, I wouldn’t expect much notice for the new character or the restock. With Isabelle and Tom Nook, Build-A-Bear attempted to mitigate the chaos by using a virtual waiting room system, where people were assigned random spots in line.
