A new Nintendo Switch Lite color will debut in May — a cool blue hue. Nintendo announced Tuesday that the new color will be released on May 21 for $199.99. It’s the fifth color in the Nintendo Switch Lite lineup, which already includes turquoise, yellow, coral, and gray.
“By expanding the existing range of color options for the system, [...] the blue Nintendo Switch Lite gives you more options to express your personal gaming style wherever you choose to play,” Nintendo said in a news release.

The new blue color is launching alongside Nintendo’s upcoming Miitopia game, which was announced in February during a Nintendo Direct stream. Nintendo’s new Switch Lite color is also the second new color to debut since the Switch Lite was released in 2019. Coral was the fourth color to launch as part of the Switch Lite line, in April 2020.
The smaller and lighter Nintendo Switch Lite is primarily designed for handheld gameplay, as opposed to the regular ol’ Nintendo Switch, which can be played handheld and docked and paired with a larger screen.
