Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get four free games in May as part of Microsoft’s Xbox Games with Gold program. Next month’s games will roll out on May 1 with Traveller’s Tales’ kid-friendly action brawler Lego Batman: The Video Game for Xbox 360 and League of Geeks’ “grim fairy tale board game come to life” Armello for Xbox One. All of May’s Games with Gold games are playable on Xbox Series X through backward compatibility.
Also coming in May are Dungeons 3, Realmforge Studios’ dungeon-building real-time strategy sim, and Tropico 4, Haemimont Games’ political strategy game in which players take on the role of El Presidente. Here’s the full May 2021 lineup for Games with Gold:
- Armello ($19.99 ERP): Available May 1 to 31
- Dungeons 3 ($29.99 ERP): Available May 16 to June 15

Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can still download three of April’s Games with Gold titles: Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, Truck Racing Championship, and Hard Corps: Uprising.
