Halo Infinite isn’t out for Xbox Series X yet, but fans are finding another way to get their Master Chief serotonin supplies. A TikTok user named ofivetwo is cosplaying Jorge-052, and the Internet has taken to calling them “Wholesome Master Chief.”

Sometimes, ofivetwo checks in just to make sure that everyone is drinking enough water, which is great. It’s always nice to have someone Halo Reach out and make sure you’re taking care of yourself, especially during a pandemic.

Some of ofivetwo’s other TikToks have gone viral because of how kind they are. The cosplayer themselves is voiceless, and when one user reached out inquire as to why, ofivetwo responded with a TikTok that promptly went viral.

Answer to @cmdrcarnage1745 I have a voice. Your voice. It was you guys all along

The TikTok reads,

When you read my words, you unconsciously give me a voice of your choosing. And something that I have found personally is that the voice is most often someone you most want to hear. Whether that be Master Chief, or Jorge-052, or maybe... It’s Your Voice. Saying that you are Loved. That you can be happy. And that you matter in this big weird world of ours. So, in honor of this revelation: Repeat after me! I’m proud of you. I know how hard you fight, kiddo, and I see you. Don’t you ever give up. To the moon and back, Kiddo.

Master Chief is an iconic character who has endured in the zeitgeist, often through absurd memes. The Spartan helmet is immediately recognizable, and there’s humor in watching scenes like ofivetwo aggressively rustle through a fridge or goof around with friends. But ofivetwo’s account mostly resonates because it’s kind, and we could all use a little pick-me-up sometimes — even if it comes from a Spartan-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command.
