Epic Games is leaning into whatever its bit is with Meowscles — “one swole cat” who debuted a year ago in Chapter 2: Season 2 of Fortnite. Now he’s got an old-timey style in-game appearance, and a cartoon short to go with it.
Ordinary Meowscles looks like one of those action-figure frankensteins bored middle-schoolers would re-animate on a Saturday afternoon. Basically, he’s a disproportionately small Hello Kitty-type head stuck on an alabaster He-Man torso, wearing a pair of desk-sergeant trousers and twin-holstered Dirty Harry firearms.
He was available in that, plus three other styles, in Chapter 2: Season 2’s Battle Pass. If you missed out, now you get him as the jaunty, garbage-eating star of “Toona Trouble.” Meowscles also has an emote, in which he flexes while Trippie Redd rhymes about playing Fortnite. The full track is here.
Things might be getting a bit… trippy for Meowscles.

If you desire to play Fortnite looking like Felix the Cat as a cop who doesn’t play by the rules, Toon Meowscles is available in a bundle for 1,400 V-Bucks (roughly $10). The bundle includes the skin, the emote, and a toona-can back bling. There’s another bundle, for 1,700 V-Bucks, that offers those items plus an animated dumbbell pickaxe, the music track, and a loading screen.
