Overwatch’s annual Anniversary event, celebrating the fifth year of Blizzard’s hero shooter, goes live today, May 18, and runs through June 8. The event brings back all of Overwatch’s seasonal events (Winter Wonderland, Halloween Terror, Summer Games, Archives, and Lunar New Year brawls), and it comes with a fresh batch of skins. You know the drill by this point!
For Overwatch Anniversary 2021, heroes and villains including Baptiste, Doomfist, Junkrat, Moira, and Sombra are all getting new Legendary skins that players can earn from loot boxes. Ana, Echo, and Wrecking Ball will also get Epic-grade skins, which players can earn by, well, playing.
Blizzard is changing how players earn those weekly rewards. Players can play games in Quick Play, Arcade, and Competitive Play modes, where they’ll earn points. Winning games doubles your points, unlocking new cosmetics.
Here’s the schedule for Epic skins:
- Week 1: Cybermedic Ana
- Week 2: Bird of Paradise Echo
- Week 3: 8 Ball Wrecking Ball
