Netflix’s Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness finally has a release date and a full trailer

Leon and Claire save the world

Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are teaming up to save the world and expose a global conspiracy in the first full trailer for Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. The CGI-animated series is set to premiere on Netflix on July 8.

The trailer follows Leon and Claire as they begin to uncover the mystery behind a new zombie outbreak that appears to have been hidden as a part of massive cover-up. While Leon seems to have some first-hand experience with the new outbreak, Claire is mostly focused on unraveling the conspiracy that aims to keep it all under wraps. Eventually, it looks like like the two join forces to once again save the world. Of course, the show doesn’t seem to be all mysteries and intrigue, since the trailer has plenty of zombie-killing as well.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness will premiere on Netflix on July 8. It’s been a big year for Resident Evil already with Resident Evil: Village releasing earlier this month to critical and commercial success, and Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, the live-action movie, set to debut sometime in September.
