During Sony’s most recent State of Play presentation on Thursday, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed more information on the upcoming detective thriller Lost Judgment. The Judgment games are a spin-off of the Yakuza series, and players take control of Takayuku Yagami as he explores the Japanese cities of Kamurocho and Isezaki Ijincho. During the State of Play presentation, Sega showed a new trailer showcasing the game’s investigative action.

The detective game arrives on Sept. 24

While main franchise Yakuza is experimenting with turn-based combat, Lost Judgment is staying in the lane of action. In-between finding clues, tailing suspects, and beating ass, players will have to hang out with teens and blend into their clubs.
The game is now available for pre-order, and has three different editions. Players who pre-order the Digital Deluxe or Digital Ultimate editions can play the game in Early Access three days early on Sept. 21. The digital deluxe pack is available for $69.99, and offers packs with “lifestyle and detective items.” There’s also an expansion pack for the School Stories quests, which allow players to spend more time with the school’s clubs. The Digital Ultimate Edition, available for $89.99, contains the previous benefits as well as a Story Expansion Pack.
Lost Judgment is set to be released on Sept. 24, and will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. PlayStation 4 owners can upgrade their version of Lost Judgment to the PlayStation 5 version for free.
