Netflix’s weirdly named Tudum fan event is basically a Netflix Direct

TUDUM

Austen Goslin (he/him) is an entertainment editor. He writes about the latest TV shows and movies, and particularly loves all things horror.

Netflix is ready to show fans all the new movies and shows that are on the way to the streaming service in the near future. Apparently, the best way to do that is a three-hour long livestream called Tudum. Netflix will host this global preview event on Sept. 25.

Tudum, which Netflix says is how you spell its opening noise, will include dozens of stars and creators for over 70 movies, series, and specials that are coming to Netflix this year and next.

Just like Netflix’s Geeked Week event from earlier this year, Tudum will be entirely virtual, with a livestream for fans to tune into. The stream will begin on Sept. 25 at 12 p.m. ET and run for three hours across Netflix’s YouTube channel, Twitch channel, and even Twitter account.

The event will include new announcements as well as updates on the return of series like Cobra Kai, Stranger Things, The Witcher, Arcane, Big Mouth, and many more shows. Here’s the list of just a few of the things that Netflix says will show up at Tudum:
