Netflix has released a new preview of Narcos: Mexico’s final season and revealed that it will premiere on Nov. 5.
The third season of the show takes a slight time jump into the drug world of the 1990s. The cartels of Mexico are thriving, thanks to the increasing globalization of the drug trade, but more money also means more danger. And in the season 3 teaser, it seems the new generation of cartel kingpins eventually spark an all-out war.
Despite the show’s jump forward, many of the same cast members will return for the third season including Scoot McNairy as Walt Breslin, Alejandro Edda as El Chapo, and José María Yazpik as Amado Carrillo Fuentes. Meanwhile, Wagner Moura will join the show as Pablo Escobar, reprising his role from the original series, as well Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, better known by his stage name Bad Bunny, who will guest star as a young cartel hitman.
Narcos: Mexico season 3 will be the final season of the Narcos spinoff, with no other series in the franchise announced so far.
