The first expansion for the latest version of Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team will include new Sisters of Battle and T’au miniatures. Titled Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team: Chalnath, the announcement was made Thursday during the Gen Con tabletop gaming convention. As is customary for publisher Games Workshop, no pricing information or release date was announced.

Kill Team was rebooted in August, and features a completely revamped ruleset. In our review, we noted how it leans into storytelling with colorful units and narrative encounters. That makes the Sisters of Battle, also known as the Adepta Sororitas, an excellent choice to keep the sub-franchise’s newfound momentum rolling. The faction made their triumphant return to the science fiction franchise in 2019 with a lavish new boxed set and recently featured in a Marvel comic. The T’au, on the other hand, are another popular faction. The grey-skinned xenos race is known for their collectivism and big, stompy robots.

Games Workshop also announced a new Kill Team starter set, a scaled down version of the massive Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team: Octarius set that was released in August. It also includes Krieg and Ork miniatures, but a lot less terrain.
