Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now Wii Fit

Folks, I’m ready to stretch

Prep your sweat bands and yoga mats. Nintendo will add community stretching to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Frankly, it’s adorable, and something I never knew I needed. It’s one of many features being added to New Horizons with its major Nov. 5 update.

Soon, we’ll be able to kick up stretching classes using a tape deck placed in front of the Nook Services building. That’ll call over a bunch of community members to the plaza to stretch together while some chill music plays. Your character can stretch along, but you can too — using Joy-Cons, you’ll be able to do the motions along with your villagers, à la Wii Fit.

It’s literally perfect? Friends visiting the island can participate, too, alongside characters like Isabelle — wearing a very cute workout outfit — and Brewster.

During Friday’s Animal Crossing Direct, Nintendo announced so much: Froggy chair is coming to the game. There’s a new paid DLC in the works that will let you design homes for villagers. You can cook food! Gyroids are back! This will be Nintendo’s last major New Horizons update, but it’s definitely a good one.

The next level of puzzles.
