V Rising blood quality and type guide

Which blood should you be drinking? How often should you be looking for high blood quality?

In V Rising, you’ll want to use the various blood types to your advantage, but some enemy blood is stronger than others. Our V Rising blood guide explains how blood quality works and the best blood type for each task.

Blood types have different effects. For example, rogue blood focuses on critical strike, and creature blood has more of a focus on exploration. That being said, you’ll want the right blood for whatever you’re trying to do in the game, whether it’s collecting materials or just exploring the lands.

The blood you consume also gives you better power-ups the better the quality is. Drinking 80% creature blood will be much more beneficial than drinking 10% creature blood, so keep an eye out for powerful victims as you roam around. You’ll also want to turn people with high blood quality into your servants, as that high quality will transfer to their skills.

Your blood will eventually run out, so don’t get too obsessed with finding a high percentage. You need blood or your HP will slowly go down until you only have one health left. Reviving clan members and using the Blood Mend healing ability also reduces your blood pool.
