For its 2D shooter Not a Hero, developer Roll7 submitted a piece of artwork that was at one point under consideration as art for the game, but later discarded.
Roll7 Director Simon Bennett says the team contracted artist Adam Rosenlund to illustrate the image below, and liked what he put together, but decided not to use the image as official art because the style didn’t match the game’s pixel graphics and the team didn’t want to confuse players. But Bennett says the image does a good job of showing the creative spirit behind the game, and adds that it led to the team’s decision to make a Not a Hero comic book.
Bennett says Not a Hero’s development is complete, and the game will go on sale on Steam on May 7, with PlayStation 4 and Vita versions down the line. Check out our previous coverage of the game here.
