Resogun human 3-D printer file

Housemarque’s side-scrolling shooter Resogun was, for many, the highlight of the PlayStation 4 launch lineup, offering some of the genre’s craziest action and particle effects. But in retrospect, Community Manager Tommaso De Benetti says fans got particularly attached to the game’s boxy green “humans” that players try to save. So for this story, Bennetti and the developers decided to let players print their own boxy green human action figures.

"The Resogun humans ended up being the most recognizable ‘characters’ in the game, more than the ships themselves, and we always regretted it a bit that no official merchandise was ever produced," says Benetti.

Housemarque’s Sebastian Schauman put together the file below, which will work with most 3-D printers you may have at home, or through a store like Shapeways or Sculpteo. Just be warned — the default size is relatively small, and if you use a service to print and want to make your human taller than 5 centimeters the cost will shoot up quickly.

Resogun is available now on PS4, PS3 and Vita. Check out our review of the game here.
