Dragons are returning to Azeroth in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight. The new expansion premieres the game’s first-ever playable race-and-hero class combo, the Dracthyr Evoker. Only the third hero class added to World of Warcraft since its launch, Dracthyr Evokers offer a unique set of talents and abilities and new gameplay and combat experiences. Dracthyr Evokers switch between draconic and humanoid visage forms, both of which are highly customizable. Players can choose between damaging or healing magic and utilize the new empower mechanic to charge up their abilities to cast more powerful spells. Dragonflight also introduces all-new talent trees, available to all classes, that allow players to customize their characters by allocating class and specialization points, which they earn every time they level up.
Dragonflight expands the world with the introduction of the Dragon Isles, the fabled ancestral home of the dragons. To best explore the four new zones of the Dragon Isles, players will master the art of Dragonriding, a new form of aerial movement. Four different drakes reside within the Dragon Isles for players to befriend and ride. The new flight system requires using momentum and gravity to gain altitude and speed. As players master the art of Dragonriding, the game reveals new maneuvers, skills, and drake customizations.
